Abigail Noruwa

Abigail started track & field because of a regional school competition where she explored her talent for running. Shortly after she joined her local club team and trained there for 2 years. After the first two years of her career Abigail switched to her current club team AV Altis closer to home. Throughout her career she had multiple successes while competing at Junior National Championships and in regional meets. Recently (2023) she became a National Champion U18 in the 400m outdoors. 

Abigail is a very determined athlete, ready to do her utmost best to become the best track athlete she can be. She is always looking for areas of improvement and works hard to develop herself even further. Hard work pays off and this indoor season she improved her hurdle PB drastically from 9,42 to 8,87s! 

Abigail wants to get the most of her athletic career, and her ultimate goal is it to become an Olympian. In the USA she is looking to become a more experienced athlete, PB in all her events and, perform at het absolute best for her school.

100m: 12,39s (2021)

100mh:15,40s (2022)

150m: 18,59s (2021)

200m: 25,04s (2023 Indoors)

400m: 55,57s (2023 Outdoor)400mh: 59,35s (2023 Outdoor) --> She started with this event in april this year for the first time and has ran only 3 meets so far.
