Angel’s basketball journey began on the streets, where he developed his love for the game and learned to play with intensity and confidence. After four years of streetball, he joined a club team and quickly made a name for himself—winning a championship in his very first season. Now, with two years of club experience, Angel has become a standout guard for the Arnhem Eagles.

Standing at 6’2”, Angel combines size, athleticism, and scoring ability. He consistently averages over 15 points per game, using his strong mid-range shot and ability to finish under pressure to stay ahead of defenders. He’s a confident scorer and an aggressive playmaker, always looking to attack the basket and take smart shots.

Angel is also highly committed to his development. He trains in the gym twice a week to build strength and explosiveness, and is currently focused on improving his three-point shooting, where he already averages two made threes per game. He knows that becoming a complete player takes discipline, and he embraces every opportunity to grow.

Angel is now ready to join a high-level U.S. boarding school program where he can continue to refine his game, train under elite coaches, and compete against top-tier talent. With his passion, work ethic, and natural talent, Angel Matina is prepared to make a strong impact and take his basketball journey to the next level.
