Personal:
Cleo van der Breggen (2007) is a right-footed midfielder from the Netherlands, currently playing for AFC Quick’s women’s U20 team. Her soccer journey began in Princeton, NJ, where she first developed her skills before returning to the Netherlands. At AFC Quick, Cleo contributed to her team’s success, achieving a national ranking of 14th. 

Soccer: 
Known for her ability to set up plays, deliver accurate depth balls, take powerful distance shots, and bring physicality to the game, Cleo excels in man-to-man coverage, coaching her teammates, and taking corner kicks. While she continually strengthens her game, she’s currently focused on improving her speed and endurance.

Academics: 
Cleo is an exceptional student with a 4.0 unweighted GPA, aiming to study astronomy at a top university. She holds a national award from the IAAC competition and has a diverse range of extracurriculars, including a research internship with Rivada Space Networks, tutoring minority children, helping with school elections, and a job at Subway. Currently pursuing Gymnasium, the highest level of Dutch high school, Cleo has three years of Latin and five years of Greek, showcasing her intellectual curiosity and dedication
