About Diane Moras

Athletic Background

Diane began her lacrosse journey with Den Haag Lacrosse Dragons, where she played for two and a half years across multiple positions, gaining valuable game experience and developing a well-rounded understanding of the sport. In the 2023–2024 season, she was selected to join the Dutch U21 Women’s National Team training squad. Although the full national program was paused that year, the experience exposed her to high-performance coaching and a competitive training environment.

In the same year, she made the transition to senior-level play, joining First Ladies Den Haag Lacrosse in the Dutch First Division. Competing at this level has helped her sharpen her tactical awareness, offensive creativity, and resilience on the field.

Strengths

Diane stands out for her coachability, speed, and team-first attitude. She is known for quickly implementing feedback during practices and games, making her a valuable player in systems that require tactical discipline and fast transitions. On offense, she creates scoring opportunities for her teammates with smart movement and positioning, while continuing to develop her own finishing abilities.

Defensively, she brings tenacity and pressure, consistently challenging opponents and tracking back with speed. Though her game leans toward sprint-based intensity, she is actively working to build greater endurance to sustain her performance across full matches.

Goals

To reach the next level, Diane is focused on improving her dodging and shooting techniques. While she has already begun working on these skills through targeted drills with her club coach, she plans to follow a structured individual program to accelerate her development.

Additionally, she is building her long-distance conditioning through a daily routine that includes running, rowing, and walking—designed to improve stamina for sustained gameplay. These areas are central to her current athletic goals and are already showing early signs of progress.

Diane is fully committed to playing at a competitive US university, where she hopes to contribute as an athlete and help her team contend for championships. At the same time, she is determined to continue growing toward international competition, with the long-term goal of earning selection to the senior national team of either the Netherlands or France. Her ambition, work ethic, and love for the sport make her a promising candidate for any collegiate lacrosse program.
