Eva’s tennis journey began in May 2013 when she was just six years old. She immediately fell in love with the sport and quickly started lessons at Tennis College Flevoland. After only nine lessons, she was invited to train with the KNLTB in Zeewolde, and later continued her weekly training when the program moved to Hilversum, where she trained for four years. Around that time, she also began training at her current club, LTV Almere, where she still plays today.

On court, Eva’s strengths include her strong footwork and her slice, which brings variety and control to her game. She is also a real team player, always bringing positive energy and support to those around her. Currently, she is working on gaining more confidence in her backhand, making her serve more consistent and powerful, and improving her mental toughness to stay calm and positive throughout tough matches.

She competed in her first official matches in 2014 and her first Jeugd Ranglijst Toernooi (JRT) in 2015. Since 2017, Eva has been playing league matches, first in boys’ and mixed teams, and later in girls’ teams. In both 2022 and 2023, she competed in the Hoofdklasse 13–17 girls’ league, one of the highest youth levels in the Netherlands.

Academically, Eva graduated from high school in the HAVO level (second highest level of high school in the Netherlands) in June 2025. She has a wide range of academic interests, including Sport Studies, Sports Management, Creative Business, and Interior Design. She is eager to explore her options while continuing her athletic and personal growth in the U.S.
