Eva Verheul

Eva Verheul started playing volleyball at a young age. At just 16 years old, Eva took on the challenge of joining VCE PSV's first women's team, competing in the second division. Her rapid ascent through the ranks is a testament to her eagerness to learn and her knack for picking up new skills quickly.

Eva's game features a strong service. Her service gives her the opportunity to score some free points during each match. Her proficiency in this area makes her an asset to any team.

Moreover, as an outside hitter, she knows how to hit balls along the line straight, deep in the back or through the hands with her offense 

Eva is a grounded and self-aware athlete who recognizes the areas in which she can improve. She is committed to refining her passing skills to become a more consistent player (in passing). Her willingness to acknowledge her weaknesses reflects her determination to continuously enhance her abilities.

Looking forward to her time in the US, Eva wants to develop her all-round volleyball skills and grow personally. She aims to gain valuable experience by competing at a high level and participating in numerous matches. Additionally, Eva is interested in immersing herself in new cultures to gain a broader perspective on the world and expand her horizons.

Eva is currently in her last year of high school in the VWO level (the highest level of high school in the Netherlands), she expects to graduate in June 2024. Eva is mostly interested in biological related majors.
