He is currently playing for Cartouche U18-1 at the highest national youth league (Landelijk). Flynn has previously played for HGC and HDM in the first team selections (Super A/landelijk). He is a strong player that has always played at the highest level, being practiced by great trainers. He is a strong defender who has a significant role in his team. On top of that, he is also versatile and has experience as a center midfielder. His insight and hockey IQ allows him to be a calm and collected leader on the field determined to win the game. 
 
Playing Style

Flynn is a hardworking, consistent, and reliable team player with exceptional vision and understanding of the game. His ability to read plays and position himself effectively makes him an invaluable asset to his team on both ends of the field. He delivers reliable performances in high-stakes matches, demonstrating focus and composure. Moreover, Flynn has a High hockey IQ that allows him to anticipate plays, position himself strategically, and maintain strong defensive coverage. As a defender, he has exceptional marking and body positioning which make him a trusted figure in circle defense situations. On top of that, he has a great pass, including accurate aerials and powerful slap passes, enabling effective outletting and transition plays.

Academics

Flynn is in his senior year of VWO, the highest high school education level in the Netherlands. He follows the IB education. He also received a Cambridge certificate, demonstrating his high level of English. He is looking to earn a bachelor’s degree while playing field hockey in the UK. He is really excited for this new adventure and cannot wait to play for an ambitious field hockey team in the Fall of 2025.
