Isis is a very ambitious player that excels as a midfielder/attacker. She was selected to join the Dutch Hockey Academy and also joined the selections for the Dutch U16 team. She decided to switch clubs from GHC Rapid to HC Zwolle to train and play at a higher level.

At the age of 12, Isis was selected to train with a group of talented players at the Hockey Academy in Laren. She learned a lot about different tactics and insights in the game from International players. At the age of 13, Isis was asked to join the selections from the U14 teams at HC Den Bosch and Kampong, but she decided to stay at her club where she could have a leading role in her team. Two years later, Isis joined the pre-selections for the Dutch U16 team. 

 

Isis is a very fanatic player with a high level of discipline. She always gives 100% and wants to get the most out of her career. Also besides her sport, she is taking care of herself by a healthy food pattern and a good recovery. 

Isis is a great team player with excellent individual qualities. She is a technical player and has a strong overview of the pitch. She is often looking for a pass by playing a 2vs1 at high speed or she plays a one on one duel. With her technique and her speed, she can be an unpredictable player for the opposing team. Over the past few years, Isis has scored many goals. Not only with her powerful backhand, but also with the penalty corner. Here she has an important role as inserter and drag flicker. 

 

Isis has set a goal for herself and she wants to improve herself both technically, physically and mentally to become a top-athlete. She believes college hockey is the perfect way to reach her goal. She is really looking forward to joining a Field Hockey Program, starting in the fall of 2022.
