Jasper de Bruijn

Jasper currently trains at Burgersdijk Tennis and HLTC De Metselaars, while competing in Dutch club leagues for De Metselaars. At Burgersdijk Tennis, he also gets private training from Nick Carr (former ATP/WTA coach). Jasper started playing tennis at a young age, during his junior career he was ranked inside the top 30 within his age category. 

During his junior career, Jasper played a lot of national junior tournaments and won several of them. Nowadays, he is mostly active in Regional tournaments. 

Jasper is a hard working tennis player, always looking for new challenges to further improve his tennis level. One of his biggest strengths is his serve, which gives him free points during a match. He also has a steady backhand, which he likes to use to outwork opponents in longer rallies. 

During his time in the US, he wants to become a better tennis player overall and improve his mental strength during matches.

Jasper is currently in his last year of high school at the VWO level, the highest level of high school in The Netherlands. He expects to graduate in June 2023 and is mostly interested in business related studies.
