Jay, born Capelle aan den IJssel, has demonstrated a strong passion and commitment to baseball from a young age. He plays for the Portland Poemas, a well-regarded local club known for its competitive edge and quality coaching.
Jay's strengths lie in his perseverance, strategic thinking, and adaptability. He is always eager to learn and improve, showing a strong commitment to both his personal development and the success of the team. He values teamwork and sportsmanship, focusing not just on his individual performance but on contributing to the group as a whole.
Athletically, Jay’s greatest strength is his exceptional speed. Whether he's sprinting to steal a base or quickly covering ground in the outfield, his quick acceleration and agility make him a valuable asset to his team. His speed gives him a competitive edge and enhances his overall game performance.
Jay’s goal is to reach his full potential both as an athlete and as an individual. He aims to play at the highest levels during college and has aspirationst to become the best version of himself.
