Level
Julie currently plays for MOP U18-1 in one of the highest youth leagues in the Netherlands. Julie has always been selected for the first selection teams of her club. Allowing her to play with the best players of her age group. On top of that, Julie was allowed to practice and play with the Women’s 1 team, who compete at the Promotie klasse. The second highest league in the Netherlands. 

Playing style
Julie’s creativity in attack sets her apart. She uses her game awareness to deliver smart and unexpected passes that catch defenders off guard.
She also has the ability to create space for herself and her teammates. Her smart positioning on the field allows her to find open areas, giving her teammates clear passing lanes. She is adept at working off the ball, making herself available in key moments to help drive the attack forward.
On top of that, Julie is extremely fast, both with and without the ball. Her speed allows her to break through defensive lines, making her a constant threat to opposing teams. Whether she’s leading a counter-attack or chasing down the ball, her pace makes her one of the quickest players on the field.
Moreover, Julie is a valuable asset in set-piece situations, particularly penalty corners. She can inject the ball with her flat slap pass, ensuring a fast and accurate delivery for her team. Her strong flat assist also allows her to set up teammates for direct scoring opportunities during open play or corner scenarios.

Academics
Julie graduated last July and received her VWO diploma last summer. She’s planning on taking the Duolingo this Fall and hopes to get recruited for the Spring of 2025 or the Fall of 2025.
