Kai Wijnveld

Kai's strengths lie in his ability to perform well under pressure and his leadership role as an infielder. He has a strong throw and thrives in team settings, often motivating his teammates from the dugout. As a quick learner and a good listener, Kai is always eager to improve. He recognizes areas for development, such as improving his speed as an infielder, particularly in the shortstop and third base positions, as well as refining his hitting skills.

Kai plays primarily as a pitcher, shortstop, and third baseman. He is progressing steadily in pitching, notably working on developing his curveball, which has shown significant improvement.

- 2nd place at the Dutch Championship 2022 (U14)

- 1st place twice in local competitions with his team, Gryphons.

Athletic Career
Baseball has always been Kai's main sport, but he supplements his training with additional activities like running 5 km with his father and boxing sessions with his aunt. His athletic versatility has helped him stay fit and focused on his baseball goals. At just 14 years old, Kai's team finished 2nd at the Dutch Championships, showcasing his competitive edge and ability to perform at a high level.

Kai is now looking for a boarding school program that can nurture both his baseball skills and academic interests. With his passion for the game, leadership potential, and strong desire to improve, he is eager to take the next step in his baseball career.
