Level 
Lani is a key player for her club’s first women’s team (Dames 1). Throughout her youth career, she consistently played for first-selection teams, and gained experience at the Subtop and Eerste Klasse levels. Her transition to senior hockey at a young age has developed her physical strength and ability to perform against more experienced opponents.

Playing style 
Lani is a high-energy player with a “never-give-up” mentality. Technically strong, possessing the stick-handling skills necessary to navigate tight spaces and maintain possession under pressure. As a vocal leader, she excels at coaching and organizing her teammates from the midfield. She is currently focused on increasing her offensive efficiency, aiming to turn her technical actions into more direct assists and goals to maximize her impact in the final third.

Accomplishments 
Lani has a consistent history of playing for first-selection teams at the regional level, maintaining her position as a core player throughout her youth career. Her development led to an early promotion to the club’s first senior women’s team (Dames 1). She has also guided her teams to multiple championships.

Academics 
Lani is a strong student who graduated with her VWO diploma in 2025. During her studies, she participated in academic Plus-modules and completed Cambridge English courses, demonstrating strong language proficiency. As a graduate, she is now fully prepared to transition into a demanding collegiate academic and athletic environment.

Additional information
Lani has also participated in the Model European Parliament (MEP) at school, regional, and national levels on multiple occasions. She later took the initiative to organize these sessions for subsequent classes at her school. Additionally, she is an active volunteer who spends her time coaching and providing training to youth teams.

Lani is a resilient and technically skilled athlete who is eager to bring her energy and senior-level experience to a collegiate team in Fall 2026.
