Level
Lotte currently competes at the highest youth level in Belgium for Braxgata Hockey Club, one of the country’s top development programs. She began her hockey journey at a smaller local club, where her talent and ambition quickly stood out. In 2023, Lotte made the move to Braxgata to further challenge herself and continue developing in a high-performance environment. Since then, she has gained valuable experience competing at the top Belgian youth level and has participated in several international tournaments, adapting quickly to a faster paced game.

Playing style
Lotte is a technically skilled and composed forward but can also play in the midfield. Her strong ball control and ability to maintain possession under pressure make her a reliable link between defense and attack. She has the ability to find smart and simple passing options, helping her team build play effectively. In front of the cage, Lotte’s composure and smart positioning make her a strong attacking threat. Off the ball, Lotte works hard defensively and stays engaged with the play. In recent seasons, she has also focused on refining her pressing skills, adding another dimension to her all-around game. Lotte prides herself for being a team oriented player and is always searching for ways to connect with her teammates on and off the field. She’s committed to making players around her better.

Accomplishments
In 2023, Lotte played a significant role in guiding her team to the Flanders Championship (regional title).

Academics
Lotte is a strong and motivated student and from the highest level of Belgian high school (ASO/Math-Science track) in July 2025. In Belgium, the ASO Math-Science track is like an American high school STEM honors or AP program, focusing on advanced math and science to prepare for university. It’s widely regarded as the highest level of education with in the ASO system. She scored 25 on her first attempt of the ACT.

Additional Information
In the summer of 2024, Lotte attended the University of North Carolina Field Hockey Camp. Participating in this camp gave her the opportunity to experience the intensity and competitiveness of American college field hockey firsthand. This experience reflects her serious commitment and clear intention to continue her hockey career in the U.S., while growing as both a player and a person.
