Maarten van Welij is a committed tennis player who trains 5 times per week, focusing on both his fitness and technique. His playing style is aggressive, with a particular strength in approaching the net and finishing points with strong volleys. Maarten enjoys playing offensively and is always looking for opportunities to dictate points early.

His favorite shot is his forehand, which he uses to generate pace and control during rallies. This shot is a key weapon in his attacking game, and he continually works to improve its effectiveness.
