Mandy de Nijs (2005) in IJmuiden, the Netherlands, and has shown her talent and determination throughout her football journey. Currently, she plays for FC Rijnvogels in the 1e klasse, where she continues to develop into a creative and decisive midfielder with a natural ability to score goals. During her first season with Rijvogels she made her debut for the first women’s team, she also practices with them on a weekly basis. 

Her career began by playing with the boys, where she quickly stood out and became champion. At the age of fourteen, she moved to the U19 team and competed there for one season before making the step to FC Rijnvogels. With the women’s 2 team, she became champion and earned promotion, showing her impact on the pitch at a young age. At just fifteen years old, Mandy was scouted by the professional Telstar Academy, where she made her debut with the women’s 1 team in the top division. During this period, she also played several matches against professional clubs, gaining valuable experience at the highest level.

In the most recent season with FC Rijnvogels, Mandy continued her development and proved her importance by finishing as the team’s top scorer. Her style of play reflects her strengths: excellent ball control, sharp dribbling, and a natural instinct for scoring. Operating mainly in the number 10 position, she has the creativity to set up teammates while also possessing the confidence and precision to decide matches herself.

Mandy’s journey so far reflects her drive, perseverance, and technical ability, and she is determined to keep pushing her career forward as she competes at one of the highest levels of Dutch women’s soccer.

She is looking to join a competitive college program in the fall of 2026. She is interested to study fields related to sports management.
