Marijn currently plays for VCS Men’s First Team, where he brings both power and smart decision-making to the court. Besides that he also trains with RVV, performing at Topdivision (second highest level) level. His athletic background extends beyond volleyball—he has also competed at a high level in hockey and soccer, showcasing his versatility and strong overall athletic ability.

As a volleyball player, Marijn’s strengths lie in his attacking skills and powerful serve. Which gives him the possibility to earn some free points for his team every match. His ability to read the game and make smart plays makes him a valuable asset to his team.

Marijn is focused on becoming a more well-rounded athlete, particularly in improving his passing skills to contribute even more to his team’s success. His determination and work ethic drive him to continuously develop as a player.

Academically, Marijn is currently enrolled in high school, in the HAVO level (second highest level of high school in the Netherlands), and expects to graduate in June 2025. He is interested in pursuing a major related to teaching and elementary education.
