Level
Molly currently plays for Pinoké U18-2 in the Eerste Klasse. During the 2024-2025 season, Molly played for Pinoké U16-2 at the higher regional level (eerste klasse) and was frequently asked to sub in for the U16-1 team at the Landelijk level, the highest level of Dutch youth hockey. As a U14 player, she also competed at Landelijk level, gaining valuable experience against the strongest teams in the country. Molly began her hockey career at a smaller club, where she quickly stood out as a leader and impact player. In 2022, she transferred to Pinoké to challenge herself further and consistently compete at higher levels.

Playing style
Molly is a versatile midfielder and forward who combines speed, vision, and leadership. She is the fastest player on her team, both with and without the ball, which allows her to stretch defenses and create dangerous opportunities. Her strong tactical awareness helps her read the game well, choose smart positions, and open up space for teammates. Molly delivers accurate, purposeful passes and has a natural instinct for scoring when playing as a forward. She is always looking to connect with teammates for quick outlets and give-and-go’s. As team captain, Molly leads by example with her relentless work ethic and motivates her teammates through positive and constructive communication.

Academics
Molly is a highly motivated and academically strong student. She is on track to graduate in July 2026 from VWO/Gymnasium, the highest level of Dutch high school. She plans to take the Duolingo English Test and SAT in Fall 2025. 

Extracurriculars
Beyond academics, Molly is actively involved in her school’s theater club, where she works behind the scenes in a professional 300-seat theater, supporting annual productions such as musicals and dance shows.

Additional information
Molly grew up in a true hockey family. Her mother played for the Dutch National Team and earned a silver medal at the 2004 Olympics. Her father competed for many years in the Hoofdklasse, the top division of Dutch hockey. Surrounded by high-level hockey from an early age, Molly developed a deep understanding of the game, a strong competitive mindset, and the drive to push herself at every opportunity. Molly is a well-rounded athlete, excelling not only in hockey but also as an advanced tennis player and skier, which have helped her develop agility, coordination, and physical strength that translate directly to her hockey performance.
