Nikki has been competing in diving for over a decade, achieving top rankings in the Netherlands and internationally. She began her career at SBC 2000 Breda, under coach Harold van Irsel. She trained there for 11 years. Despite limited facilities, she consistently delivered high-level performances. In 2024, Nikki transitioned to PSV Eindhoven to pursue greater challenges and to have access to world-class training facilities and coaching. Due to her perseverance and perfectionism throughout her diving career, Nikki is ranked in the top five divers in the Netherlands and continues to demonstrate significant growth in her skills and competitive performance.

Nikki is a skilled diver with exceptional board control and strong takeoff, allowing her to achieve impressive height and execute dives with precision. She adapts well mid-air, ensuring clean finishes even if the approach isn’t ideal. Her technical skills, combined with her relentless work ethic and passion for diving, make her a determined and ambitious competitor.

Goals
Nikki has her mind set on both short term and long term goals. She is currently focused on increasing her rotational speed and incorporating higher-difficulty dives into her routines; areas where she is already making great progress. Alongside this, she is improving her flexibility to enhance her entry angles and refining her inward takeoffs for greater consistency. Her dedication to improvement reflects her drive to become an even more complete and competitive diver. 

Nikki wants to reach her full potential as a diver, with aspirations of joining the Dutch national team, competing in European and World Championships, and ultimately representing her country at the Olympics. Moreover, Nikki is ready to continue her academic journey in the U.S., bringing her dedication to both diving and academics to a college program. During her collegiate career, she looks forward to improving her skills, contributing to her team’s success, and gaining invaluable experience that will shape her future in diving and beyond.
