Level
Norah plays for Amersfoort U18-1 and has extensive experience at the highest levels of Dutch youth hockey (Super). She is also frequently invited to train and compete with the Amersfoort Women 1 team, gaining valuable senior-level experience and adapting to a more physical style of play.

Background
Norah began playing hockey at a young age and quickly became a standout player on her local club’s first selection teams. By U14, she was competing with players four years older. To challenge herself, she joined a bigger club (Amersfoort) in 2023 and was selected for U16-1, making an immediate impact and often being asked to substitute in U18-1 matches. Her talent, ambition, and work ethic have been consistently recognized by coaches and teammates. Outside hockey, she played golf competitively before committing fully to the sport.

Playing style
Norah combines great stick skills with creativity and composure, making her a key playmaker in midfield. She excels in one-on-one situations, uses sharp body-fakes and quick acceleration to beat defenders, and consistently creates scoring opportunities. Her high endurance allows her to compete at full intensity until the final whistle,  consistently outworking her opponents and competing fully for every ball. Norah’s game awareness, determination, and leadership make her a reliable and impactful teammate.

Accomplishments
In 2023, Norah scored both the equalizer and the winning goal in the decisive match that secured the fall season championship with Amersfoort U16-1, earning the team promotion to Super B. The following year, she helped Amersfoort U18-1 win the 2024 fall season championship, once again achieving promotion to the Super League.

Academics
Norah is in her final year of the highest level of Dutch high school (VWO) and is expected to graduate in June 2026. She is an academically strong and motivated student, maintaining a 3.98 GPA throughout junior year.
