Level
Pleun plays for Cartouche U18-1 in the Super A (one of the highest competitions in the Dutch youth league).  She is a true central defender who is strong on the ball. She has played for the first teams at Cartouche throughout her youth at the highest level. This year, they made it to the Super A league after they won their pre-competition. She has played at the national level throughout U16 en U14 as wel, which is the highest league in the Netherlands. 

Playing Style
Pleun is a physically strong player with a long reach. She dominates the central defense, ensuring no attacker gets past her. Her patience and composure on the field allow her to effectively stop threats while maintaining defensive structure. Known for her long and hard passes, she efficiently transitions the ball to forwards across the field, enabling quick and accurate counterattacks. Her ability to execute aerial passes adds depth to her skill set, allowing her team to bypass midfield pressure effectively. She is a versatile player who can also play as a sideback. On top of that, she contributes offensively by maintaining strategic positioning during corners to maximize scoring opportunities. She also contributes during the defensive corner by succesfully standing at the post. Moreover, she never gives up during a game, fighting tirelessly for every ball and supporting her teammates with consistent energy and effort.

Academics
Pleun is currently in her final year of  high school (HAVO). She is expecting to graduate in June, 2025. She is really excited to play in the U.S. and wants to compete with her new team starting in the Fall of 2025.
