Pom started playing tennis at the age of four and has never stopped since. In his younger years, he dedicated countless hours to practicing his backhand, which has now become his biggest weapon on the court. 

His mentality sets him apart, Pom thrives in competitive situations and stays composed under pressure, turning close matches into victories. Standing at 6’2 feet, he uses his reach and physical presence to his advantage. Pom is currently focusing on improving his forehand to make his overall game even more complete.

In America, Pom’s goal is to grow as much as possible, both in tennis and in life outside the court. He is eager to embrace the student-athlete lifestyle, experience a new culture, and develop himself as a person alongside his tennis ambitions.

Pom is currently enrolled in the highest level of high school in the Netherlands (VWO) and will graduate in 2026. He has not yet decided on his major but is open to exploring his academic interests.
