Puck is currently playing for HC Shinty with the First Ladies team. Puck has always played for her club HC Doorn in the first team selections. She previously played as a center back, so she is versatile and can play in multiple positions. She decided to switch clubs and currently plays for Shinty where she plays at a forward and midfielder.

Playing Style

Puck is known to be an intelligent midfielder who is explosive. She is a true goalscorer with a dangerous hit and a good dragflick. She has tactical insight which allows her to know where to position herself in the circle. She understands the importance of timing and (double) leading which makes it easy for her teammates to find her in goal scoring positions. Moreover, Puck is committed to becoming the best player she can be. She trains twice a week on both her dragflick and hit. She scores a lot of goals from the corner attack, which makes her an important player for her team.

Besides her ability to be explosive, she also knows how to be calm and collected on the ball. She is calm enough to make the right decisions and knows how to switch between passing and going for the attack.

Academics

Puck is in her senior year of VWO, the highest high school education level in the Netherlands. She is looking to earn a bachelor’s degree while playing field hockey in the U.S. She is really excited for this new adventure and she cannot wait to play for an ambitious field hockey team in the Fall of 2025.
