Rick currently plays for Vocasa, representing the men’s second team in the Top Division, the Men’s fourth team, and their highest boys’ team. Besides that the is also training with their first men’s team, performing in the Super Division. 

His height and athleticism make him a formidable presence at the net. Rick excels in blocking, moving quickly both ways, and reaching high to shut down opponents’ attacks. His powerful serve is another key strength, consistently producing aces and making it difficult for the opposing team to build their plays.

Rick is focused on improving his spiking and attacking skills. He aims to expand his hitting angles and become more versatile at the net. To achieve this, he actively reflects on his performance during training sessions and seeks feedback from his coaches to refine his technique.

Currently enrolled in the highest level of high school, the VWO level, the highest academic level in the Netherlands, Rick expects to graduate in June 2026. He is interested in majoring in archaeology or something related too that. He is excited about the opportunity to combine his academic and athletic goals.
