Rink Rewijk

Starting his athletic career with both soccer and athletics, Rink chose to fully commit to track at the age of 14. He has shown a remarkable progression, winning national titles and setting personal bests every season. Rink’s success stems from his relentless perseverance and mental toughness. Known for his ability to remain positive and push through difficult moments during races, he consistently rises to the occasion. He is a versatile athlete, excelling in multiple middle-distance events, from the 800m to the 3000m. Standing at 184 cm and weighing 63.7 kg, Rink has demonstrated remarkable consistency at the top level, securing medals in various national competitions and a 4th place in the European U18 championships. He has shown a great progression and he is eager to learn more in the physical and tactical field of the sport.

- 400m: 53.11

- 800m: 1:55.61

- 1500m: 3:51.44

- 3000m: 8:41.10

Rink’s achievements include: 

- 1st place in the 1500m at the Dutch U16 National Championships

- 1st place in the 800m at the Dutch U18 Indoor Championships

- 1st place in the 1500m at the Dutch U18 Outdoor Championships (2024)

- 2nd place in the U18 Cross Country National Championships

- 2nd place in the U16 800m at the Dutch National Championships

- 3rd place in the U16 Cross Country National Championships

- 6th all-time U18 in the Netherlands for the 1500m indoor with a time of 3:57.61

- 9th all-time U18 in the Netherlands for the 1500m outdoor with a time of 3:51.44

- 4th place in the European U18 Championships for the 1500m

With a 3.97 GPA, Rink is a highly motivated student, with a strong interest in international relations, politics, law, or security. He is seeking a college program that offers both an academic challenge and a competitive track and field team, where he can excel both on the track and in his studies.

Rink is eager to join a program that offers both academic and athletic strength, aiming to continue his rise as one of the top middle-distance runners in the Netherlands.
