Personal: 

Roos Wittgen (2007) is a right-footed player who competes with the boys’ U17 team of RKSV Nuenen and frequently practices and plays test matches with PSV U19, a professional academy in the Netherlands. Her calm demeanor on the pitch conceals her fierce competitiveness and strong drive for success. Dedicated to her personal growth both on and off the field, Roos continuously strives to elevate her game and prepare for the next level in her soccer career.

Academics: 

Roos currently holds a 3.5 GPA and scored a 125 on her Duolingo test, highlighting her academic strength alongside her athletic pursuits. In addition to soccer, she has a keen interest in fields that complement her athletic career, such as teamwork, leadership, and strategy. This well-rounded approach provides Roos with a strong foundation for future success, both in and out of sports. 

Soccer: 

Roos’s strengths as a right-footed midfielder include her outstanding tactical overview, which allows her to quickly assess where the ball needs to go. Her technical skills, combined with good speed and control over the ball, make her a powerful presence in both offensive and defensive plays. Known for her ability to combine well with teammates and deliver precise passes through the lines, Roos has demonstrated remarkable talent in setting up scoring opportunities.

Although her dueling ability is an area she’s working to improve, Roos has made notable progress in recent months. She doesn’t shy away from physical contact but continues to fine-tune her approach in this aspect of the game. Having been on the standby list for the KNVB national teams U16 and U17, she ranks among the top 30 women in the country, showcasing her potential to play at the highest level of the sport.
