Level
Rosalie plays for MHC Ede U18-1 and also competes with Women 1 to continue her athletic development. She has experience at the higher regional youth levels (Subtop and Eerste Klasse) as well as at the fourth highest level of senior hockey (Eerste Klasse). Rosalie trains two times per week with the U18 team, one time per week with Women 1, and competes in two matches each weekend. Although she had the opportunities to join a higher-level club, she chose to stay with her teammates to work toward shared goals and develop in multiple areas of her game as well as personally.

Playing style
Rosalie excels as an attacking right back but is equally effective as a (central) midfielder. She makes good decisions under pressure, communicates clearly on the field, and brings a skilled presence to the defensive and midfield lines. She is quick on the flanks and plays with forward intention, frequently finding herself in goal scoring positions or providing her teammates with assists. One of her key strengths is her powerful aerial, which can cover roughly one-third of the field. She trains this skill frequently to improve accuracy, distance, and direction. Rosalie has been team captain for two seasons, allowing her to develop herself as a leader. She often has matches with multiple goals or assists, contributing directly to her team’s attacking output.

Academics
Rosalie is enrolled in VWO, the highest level of Dutch secondary education, and is expected to graduate in July 2026. 

Rosalie is excited to continue her field hockey and academic career in the United States, where she looks forward to developing her game further and contributing to the success of her future college team.
