Level 
Saar plays for HC Eemvallei U16-1 and is considered a stand out player for her team. She has played in the club’s first selection teams since the age of six and has mainly played at the Subtopklasse level throughout her career. Her talent and growth were recently recognized when she made her first appearance for the club’s Dames 1 senior team, allowing her to learn from older teammates and compete at a higher physical level. 

Playing style 
Saar is a multifunctional player who excels as both a striker and a center midfielder. As a striker, she has a natural instinct for the goal and was her team’s top scorer last season, scoring in almost every game she played in. In the midfield, she uses her excellent vision to distribute play with strong long balls. She has a powerful shot on both her forehand and backhand. Saar is also a specialist on penalty corners, serving as a primary hitter on attack and a reliable line stop on defense.

Accomplishments
Saar has a strong history of winning championships. Last season, she helped her team become champions in the Landelijke Subtopklasse. Her team also won the indoor league and earned a wildcard for the unofficial Dutch National Championships in the U12 category. For three years in a row, her team has a prestigious indoor tournament. Saar consistently contributes to her team’s success through her scoring and her leadership role on the field.

Academics 
Saar is expected to graduate Dutch high school at the HAVO level in June 2026. She has a proven ability to combine elite field hockey with her studies through a focused and organized approach. Saar is eager to continue her academic growth at a challenging U.S. university.

Saar is determined to reach the highest level possible and is looking forward to joining a challenging U.S. team where she can develop her technical skills and contribute to the team’s success starting in Fall 2026.
