Teun de Groot
Teun de Groot (2006) is a Dutch golf player who is working hard on his game to become the best golf player he can be. He is ambitious and is a hard worker on and off the course. Teun is looking to join a college golf program in the fall of 2023.
About Teun de Groot
Teun started his golfing career pretty late compared to other players of his age. Teun started in 2017 when he was 11 years old. In 2018 he started to put more focus into his golf game. From that point on he noticed that he developed his game at a high pace. He is now training 3-4 times a week and under the guidance of a top professional who uses advanced technology like trackman and flight scope. This helps him to get a better insight in his swing and other stats.
The strengths of Teun are his length off the tee, iron game and longer pitches. Teun has a height of 188 cm (6’2). This enables him to create a big ark and hit the ball a long way. He is looking to improve on his short game and his consistency. He notices that he can shoot lower scores but not as consistent as he would like! His current scoring average is 81 strokes.
Teun is currently in his final year of high school in the Netherlands. He is expecting to graduate in the summer of 2023. He is interested in a doing a major in Psychology. Please check out the details section below for more information on his academics.
