Zonne started playing volleyball at just eight years old for Taurus, one of the top clubs in the Netherlands, and has competed at the highest National youth levels throughout her junior career. She currently plays for Taurus’ top women’s team, competing in the Dutch second Division, as an outside hitter. 

As a player, Zonne stands out for her attacking power, jump float, tactical awareness, and defensive hustle. Her ability to read the game and find solutions in difficult situations makes her a key contributor on the court. She’s known for her positive energy, team-first mentality, and leadership qualities, always supporting and motivating those around her.

In addition to indoor volleyball, Zonne competes in beach volleyball, where she has achieved great success; winning multiple U17 and Third Division tournaments and placing 5th at the Dutch U19 National Beach Championships. Her experience on the sand has helped her develop strong shot selection, precision, and ball control, making her an even more complete player indoors.

In the 2023–2024 season, Zonne was selected for the “Talent” program organized by the Dutch Volleyball Federation, where she trained with the country’s top young talents.

Zonne graduated from HAVO-level high school in June 2025 and is currently taking a gap year to focus on her athletic development. She has not yet decided on her major but is open to exploring different academic fields.
