Liam Liles

Liam Liles, born 2002, is a Dutch, right-handed tennis player interested in joining a college tennis team starting in the Fall of 2020. He has consistently been ranked amongst the top 5 junior players in the country and will graduate Dutch high school in the spring of 2020.


Liam is an experienced player who has been successful on the ITF Junior tour. He is an aggressive, big-serve, big forehand player looking to dominate the point. Liam wants to continue his tennis career in a top D1 team in the United States and has his sights on turning pro after college.

Since a young age, Liam has known what it is like to combine an intensive tennis schedule with a challenging academic curriculum. In the past year, Liam has won three ITF doubles titles, one ITF singles title, and became runner-up in singles twice. In national competition, Liam was also successful, reaching the semi-finals in singles and doubles play at the 2019 Dutch Championships under 18. In school, Liam attends the highest-level secondary education in the Netherlands. He hopes to pursue his athletic and academic careers in a challenging environment where he can develop as a person and a leader.
