Marco Visser

Marco Visser is a half-Dutch, half-Italian midfielder/central defender currently living in Belgium and playing for FC Saint-Michel in Belgium. Marco is interested in joining an ambitious college soccer team in the Fall of 2020.


Marco is a left-footed and defensive-minded player. He has experience playing in multiple positions and made his debut for the first team of his club at a very young age. He has been nominated as the most improved player in his club for 5 years in a row.

Marco has played for FC Saint-Michel his whole career. FC Saint-Michel plays in the Iris League which is equal to the second/third division for youth players. Between the age of 13 and 16, Marco has played as attacking midfielder, defensive midfielder and left winger. When he turned 16, he made a transfer to the first team of FC Saint-Michel. The following year he was a player of the starting 11 as a defensive midfielder or a central defender. At the age of 16, Marco played in the selection of the Flemish side of Belgium and was scouted for Juventus Turin. He contributed to a few training sessions and was scouted by an Italian D2 team. He then decided to keep playing in Belgium, where his parents lived as well.

Marco is good at reading the game, he has very good vision. He is strong on the ball and competes well. His ultimate goal is to be drafted in the US and play MLS level soccer.

Marco graduated from high school in the spring of 2019 and is interested in majors related to political science, international relations, social sciences and business.
