About

Max has averaged scores of 73,6 over the last 12 months. He has played 10 rounds par or better and his lowest round was 67 (-5) in the Portugal Faldo Course.

Max started playing golf at the age of 6 and has improved rapidly over the last few years. He has tremendous international experience for a player of his age and a clear goal of becoming a professional golf player after college. Max currently trains with GolfTON, which is a professional program in the Netherlands with about 25-30 hours of training every week. In 2018, Max placed 6th at the Dutch national championships U18 out of 125 players, and first of all players born in 2002.

In December 2018, Max played the Copperhead U19 in Florida. He was in first place after day 1, second place after day 2 and an unfortunate third day took him down to the 10th place overall.

Max studies at the highest high school level in the Netherlands (VWO) and currently has a GPA of 3.9. He will graduate in July 2019.
His SAT score of 1390 included a perfect 800 for Math (!).
To further develop his game, Max is planning on taking a year off from school to fully focus on golf, before joining a college team in the Fall of 2020.
