Phil van den Broek

Phil van den Broek is an athletic goal keeper who has played for several professional clubs in the Netherlands. He currently plays for the first team of RKC Waalwijk in the Netherlands (active in Jupiler League which is the second highest national division).


Phil has played for several nationally active soccer clubs including RKC Waalwijk, PSV Eindhoven and NAC Breda.

Phil (21) started his career at the junior teams of PSV Eindhoven in the Netherlands. After being active for several clubs including NAC Breda, FC Den Bosch, FC Oss and FC Eindhoven, he started playing for RKC Waalwijk as of 2017. Phil has always been at the GK position. His strengths include the coaching of other players on the field, high balls, long kicks, 1 on 1 situations and his reaction speed.

Phil has the Dutch and New-Zealand nationalities. In 2015, he got invited by the Dutch National Football Association (KNVB) to make a trip to Thailand in which he played for the KNVB Dutch First Division All Star Team U-23, which was coached by Stanley Menzo.

Phil will finish his MBO degree in the fall of 2017 and is looking to join a competitive soccer team in the spring of 2018.
