Femke Eising

Femke always played soccer and tennis in her youth, but at the age of 12 she decided to switch to volleyball and started immediately playing at a serious level. She already played for the first women’s team of her club, just at the age of 15. At the beginning of this season she switched clubs and started playing for Tjoba in the second division in the Netherlands. 

In addition to playing for Tjoba, Femke trains 3 times a week. She does so at various positions both as MB and OH. In addition, she has chosen to attend an extra training session each week where the best talented generation members individually seek to improve.Femke is motivated to give everything she can to achieve her goals. 

In recent years, Femke has been positioned at a MB position. But because she is so all-round and also has the passing skills under control she spends 50% of her training time at the OH position. As a coach, it is very useful to have Femke on your team because she can be used at different positions, although she aspires to the OH position.

She has a strong serve, which gives her the ability to put the opponent under real pressure. 

In defense, Femke knows what she needs to do. However, during her time in college she hopes to grow even more in her defense. To become a better volleyball player overall. 

Femke is a real teammate, she is looking forward to learning from her future teammates and living and performing in a team environment. 

Femke is currently in her last year of high school, in the VWO level, the highest possible level of high school in the Netherlands and holds a 3.30 GPA. She expects to graduate in June 2023. She is mostly interested in mathematics related studies.
