Marten started playing tennis at the age of seven and has developed into a well-rounded athlete. His forehand, backhand, and volleys are all reliable weapons, and his variety in play, including drop shots and net approaches make him a threat for every opponent.

One of Marten’s biggest strengths is his ability to learn quickly. This adaptability allows him to make steady progress and improve match after match. He is currently focused on improving his serve and footwork to take his game to the next level.

Marten is also an outstanding team player. He loves contributing to his team’s success and often coaches or supports his teammates during their matches. His combination of skill, adaptability, and leadership makes him a strong asset to any college program.

Marten graduated from VWO, the highest level of high school education in the Netherlands, in June 2025. He is interested in pursuing majors in Business Management or Economics.
