About Suze Droogh

Suze started playing volleyball at a young age. In 2022, she made the switch from Zovoc to ZVH (one of the best clubs of the country) to challenge herself at a higher level, demonstrating her ambition and commitment to improvement. She currently plays for ZVH, competing with the highest U18 girls’ team while also training and playing with the club’s first women’s team, performing in the Dutch Second Division.

As a player, Suze is a true team player with a strong defensive presence. She gives everything for every ball and brings relentless energy to the court. She won’t give up, until the last ball has been played.

Suze is focused on further developing her attacking skills—working on hitting with more power and placing her shots more precisely to become a more complete offensive threat.

Academically, Suze is currently in her final year of HAVO-level high school and expects to graduate in June 2025. She plans to take a gap year to focus on her volleyball development before pursuing her college career in the fall of 2026. She has not yet decided on a major.
