Elena is active as a graduate intern SPECO Sports Communication within Slamstox. Having lived in America for several years herself, she played basketball in the United States for two years at the USCAA Division 2 level. During this time she became a champion and was an Academic All-American.

Basketball has been Elena’s greatest passion from a young age. After her American adventure, she has remained active as a basketball player in the Netherlands and also works as a youth coach in Tilburg, where she guides and inspires young girls in their development, both on and off the court. She also continues to challenge herself physically outside of basketball, including through Hyrox and cycling.

Thanks to her own experiences within American basketball, Elena knows exactly what is involved in combining top sports and study abroad. She understands the challenges, but also the opportunities this adventure brings. With her enthusiasm, knowledge and personal story, Elena is committed to Slamstox to guide and motivate athletes in taking steps towards college basketball in America and realizing their athletic and personal goals.
