Sports:<\/strong> Tennis<\/p>\n\n\n\n Entry semester:<\/strong> Spring 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n Mathijs is 17 years old and lives in Heeze. He comes from a true tennis family, as they all play tennis. When Mathijs was 6 years old, he was playing both tennis and soccer, but from the age of thirteen, he fully focused on tennis. Mathijs is very sociable and fits well in a group. In a group, he can take on both a listening and a leadership role. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Furthermore, Mathijs has type 1 diabetes, but he makes the best of it and has become very organized, which is reflected in his sportsmanship. Mathijs is also a player who is always willing to go the extra mile for the team. He wants to motivate his teammates to improve as a team and achieve the best performance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n During his time in America, Mathijs wants to make significant strides in tennis so that he can take on the world’s top players after his time there.
