It was a time that shaped my life\u2014the combination of top-level sports and high-level education, building friendships across the globe, and discovering my own potential. When I came back to the Netherlands, I had one clear goal: to give other young athletes the same opportunity I had. And that\u2019s how Slamstox was born.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now, ten years later, I realize we\u2019ve built something truly special. Did I ever imagine that Slamstox would grow into what it is today? Absolutely not. But at the same time, it feels like we\u2019re just getting started. Over the past years, we\u2019ve accomplished so much to be proud of, yet there are still countless opportunities and innovations ahead of us.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Early Years: A Great Learning Curve<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the first five years, I ran Slamstox alongside my job as an investment banker. It was a great challenge\u2014working in finance by day, and on my passion project by night and on weekends. Still, it gave me a unique balance and the energy to keep pushing forward. In 2019, I decided to take the leap and go full-time with Slamstox. This was also the moment I moved to the SX Building in Eindhoven. That decision marked the start of a period of significant growth.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-de-cijfers\">The Numbers<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking back at the past ten years, there are a few statistics I\u2019m incredibly proud of. We\u2019ve had the privilege to guide nearly 1500 student-athletes, now spread across 49 U.S. states\u2014Alaska is the last one still to come! Our student-athletes have collectively secured an impressive $125 million in scholarships. Two of our talents have even made it to the Olympic Games, and we\u2019ve guided multiple European and world champions.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">But perhaps the most amazing achievement is that we\u2019ve coached countless national champions and claimed no less than seven National Championships in the U.S. We\u2019ve grown into an international community of student-athletes from more than 25 countries, all with one goal: to maximize their potential both in sports and academics.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A Growing Community<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What makes Slamstox unique is the community we\u2019ve built together. Our student-athletes are not just athletes. They\u2019re young people striving for personal growth every single day, both on the field and in the classroom. We don\u2019t just work for them; we work with them. Whether you\u2019re a future Olympic champion or someone who simply wants to be the best version of themselves, we\u2019re here for you.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At Slamstox, we believe every student-athlete can achieve the maximum in their career, regardless of their level. It\u2019s not just about performance; it\u2019s about the experience. We are here to help, guide, and support you at every step of your journey.&#13;\n&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Future: We\u2019ve Only Just Begun<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ten years of Slamstox feels like a milestone, but I\u2019m convinced that the best is yet to come. Innovation is in our DNA. We continue to work on new ways to better support our student-athletes, with plans to expand our services further in Europe and forge new partnerships.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We keep dreaming. We keep building. And above all, we remain committed to providing the ultimate student-athlete experience to as many young talents worldwide as possible.&#13;\n<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To everyone who has been part of the Slamstox community\u2014thank you for your trust, energy, and passion.
