Sports: <\/strong>Men’s Basketball<\/p>\n\n Entry semester:<\/strong> Fall 2025<\/p>\n\n This is Koen Thijssen, a 16-year-old basketball player with a lot of energy and passion for basketball. He lives with his mother in Nijmegen and father in Driel. Sports have always played a big role in his life. As a child he combined soccer and tennis, but eventually found his real passion in basketball. His father used to play as well, and at age twelve Koen decided to give it a try himself. Since then, he has never been away from the court. <\/p>\n\n Koen is known as an enthusiastic and cheerful team player. Trainers praise him for his passion, trainability and game insight. He understands the game at a deep level and works on his development every day. His energy and commitment make him a valuable player for any team. <\/p>\n\n In America, Koen not only wants to develop as a basketball player, but also become physically stronger. He wants to play as much as possible, enjoy the experience and take his skills to the next level.
