He started playing soccer at the age of seven, inspired by his best friend – who he still plays with today. He started his soccer career at Alphense Boys, but made the switch to ARC at age 12 to challenge himself at a higher level. <\/p>\n\n His family describes him as an easy-going, sociable and friendly person, always open to new people and experiences. Timo is very eager to learn and ambitious – qualities that are reflected in both his athletic and personal life. <\/p>\n\n As a player, Timo is known for his speed, physical strength, strong defensive ability in 1-on-1 situations, accurate crosses and good tactical insight. He is naturally a right back, but is also excellent as a central defender. His leadership qualities make him a true captain: for five years he has proudly worn his team’s captain’s armband. <\/p>\n\n Timo’s goal in the United States is to play college soccer at the highest level, win championships and develop as both an athlete and a person. He aims to successfully complete his studies within four years. In the long run, he wants to remain active in soccer at the top level for as long as possible. <\/p>\n\n What he adds to a university?
