Sports: <\/strong>Field Hockey This is Annelore Sturkenboom, a 15-year-old field hockey player from the Netherlands living in Eindhoven. Annelore started playing field hockey when she was six years old. At that age she did some other sports like athletics and tennis, but she liked field hockey the most. Now Annelore plays for Oranje-Rood and two years ago she participated with her team in the national championships. <\/p>\n\n What makes Annelore special as a person is that she is social and enjoys doing things with her friends. She also enjoys meeting new people and making new friends. <\/p>\n\n What really sets Annelore apart as an athlete is that she is a true team player. She always tries to motivate her teammates and cheer them up when things don’t work out for a while. Annelore’s technique and speed are very strong. She can combine her good technique with her speed on the field hockey fields. <\/p>\n\n In the future in America, Annelore hopes to continue to develop herself every day as a person and as an athlete. She would like to play field hockey at the highest possible level while being able to combine this with her studies. In America Annelore would like to improve her English and her social skills.
