Introducing Finn Kemper: Slamstox Scout Germany

Slamstox is happy and excited to introduce our newest team member, the one and only Finn Kemper! Finn will represent Slamstox as scout, recruiter and main contact point for all athletes in Germany who wish to combine sports and studies in the United States.

Born and raised in Hamburg, Germany, Finn chose to leave his home country at age 18 to pursue his athletic and academic careers in the United States. After spending one semester at Stony Brook University, he transferred to Fordham University in New York City, where he plays Division 1 college tennis and studies business administration with a dual concentration in finance and marketing. Finn is currently in his last year and serves as the captain of Fordham’s Men’s Tennis Team.

Favorite quote: “You’ll never be successful if you don’t keep pushing. Great things never come out of the comfort zone.”

Under Finn’s leadership, the team reached the quarter finals of the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament for the first time in seven years. As a result, he was named Atlantic 10 Tennis Player of the Week. Besides his accomplishments on the court, Finn is also successful in the classroom, earning a spot on Fordham’s Dean’s list and the A10 Commisioner’s List. In May 2020, Finn will graduate with a bachelor’s degree and join Fordham’s prestigious alumni network which includes people such as Donald Trump and Denzel Washington.

Other than his accomplishments as a tennis player and student, Finn has also represented Fordham’s Men’s Tennis Team in the NCAA Student-Athlete Advisory Council (SAAC), a nationwide organization that aims to improve the experience of all NCAA student-athletes. In this role, Finn has built a large network of contacts in the U.S. college sports arena that will be valuable in his work as a scout and recruiter in the German market.

We are happy to have Finn join our team and are looking forward to help German athletes make their U.S. college dreams come true!
