About Kees Braakhekke

Kees’s game is centered around consistency and tactical awareness. He is particularly skilled at identifying his opponent’s weaknesses and adjusting his strategy to exploit them. By combining his baseline construction with a strong net game, he is able to keep his opponents under constant pressure.

Having started serious competitive tennis at Amstelpark at age 12, Kees has shown a rapid development curve. He has recently climbed the national rankings significantly through his participation in JRT tournaments. Despite a later start than his peers, his growth rate remains high as he continues to bridge the gap between his training level and match results.

Some of his best results are:
63 63 win over Sjoerd Damen (UTR 8.38)
75 64 win over Nicolas Borremans (UTR 7.04)
64 60 win over Julian Kursten (UTR 7.33)

Outside of tennis, Kees is exploring an academic path in the field of economics. He aims to find a program that fits his academic ambitions while providing a high-level environment to continue his rapid athletic development.
