Level
Amelie currently plays for Rood-Wit U18-2, competing at the higher regional level (Eerste/Tweede Klasse) in the Netherlands. Throughout her youth career, she has consistently been seen as a go-to player on her teams.

Playing style
Amelie is an explosive and physically strong player who plays with her head up and makes smart decisions under pressure. She is known for being a true team player, always focused on what’s best for the group and maintaining emotional stability during intense moments. Amelie is confident in defensive situations and unafraid to challenge opponents to win the ball. She keeps possession well, using her strength and control to maintain composure even when under pressure. As a post on defensive penalty corners, she brings courage and excellent positioning, making her a dependable presence on the back line. Amelie is someone coaches and teammates rely on in key moments. This trust has allowed her to grow into a leadership role, developing strong communication skills and a clear sense of responsibility on the field.

Academics
Amelie is a strong student currently enrolled in the VWO track, the highest level of Dutch secondary education, and is expected to graduate in 2026. She plans to take the Duolingo English Test in the fall of 2025.
