Ever since she was very young, Anne has been selected to the selection teams of her club. With her teams she has mostly played at the highest levels of Dutch youth hockey (Landelijk/Super/Subtop). She is currently playing for Union U16-1 in the Super B league (second highest level in The Netherlands) and played at the Landelijk level last year (highest level of Dutch youth hockey). As a first year U14 player, Anne was selected to the U14-2 team. This made her realize that she had to work even harder to reach her goals and become a member of the U14-1 team again. That year on the U14-2 team, Anne became a leading player in her team and took on additional responsibilities. As a second year U14 player, Anne was selected to the U14-1 team again.

Anne is a skilled and fast forward with the ability to score goals from multiple angles. She has great spacial awareness and knows how to use her explosive speed to move away from opponents after eliminating them. Anne has an accurate and fast reverse, as well as forehand shot. In addition to playing forward, Anne also has experience playing as a defender. Her poised demeanor and strong basic skill set allow her to play in multiple positions on the field, depending on what the game is in need of. Anne has a leading role in her team and is expected to be vocal and coach her teammates around her.

Anne is always actively searching for improvements for her game and often watches game film which she analyzes with her coaches. Additionally, she has participated in several high level camps, clinics and practices to improve herself in addition to what she’s learning at her own club. During the 2021-2022 season, Anne led her U14-1 team to the semi finals of the U14 Outdoor National Championships. During the 2023-2024 indoor season, Anne led her U16-1 team to the first round of the U16 Indoor National Championships.

Anne is currently in her 4th year of Dutch high school (HAVO) and has followed all English courses for the past two years. She is expected to graduate in July 2025. Anne will be taking the Duolingo and SAT in the summer or fall of 2024.

Anne is looking forward to joining an ambitious and high level college field hockey team in the Fall of 2025. She is hoping contribute to her team while learning a lot.
