Level 

Annemijn competes for HC Rotterdam, one of the largest and most well-known clubs in the Netherlands. She has shown steady and consistent growth throughout her youth career, playing within the club’s competitive broad-based teams. Her ability to adapt and contribute to her team as they progress through different levels has made her a reliable and valued player at her club.

Playing style 

Annemijn is a versatile forward who is also effective in the midfield. She is an incredibly hard worker with an engine that never stops, using her speed to cover the entire field and support her teammates. Always looking for open space to receive the ball, her drive and enthusiasm make her a frequent scorer who is constantly in the right place to finish an action. She is currently focused on sharpening her ball-handling speed to become even more decisive in the circle.

Accomplishments 

Annemijn’s hockey journey is defined by perseverance and contributing to her team’s success in the Dutch league. She has been a key part of several teams that performed well in their division, experiencing the excitement of winning league matches and earning promotions to higher levels. She enjoys the challenge of competing for the top spots in her pool and always maintains a positive, winning mindset.

Academics 

Annemijn is an academically gifted student pursuing her VWO diploma, the highest level of secondary education in the Netherlands. She is a disciplined student-athlete who is excited to combine her intellectual curiosity with an elite sports environment. She is on track to graduate in June 2027.

Annemijn is incredibly excited to embrace the American style of hockey and learn from new coaches! She is determined to grow as a teammate and push herself to the highest level possible starting in Fall 2027.
