Level
Bibi has played for MOP all her life and has always been part of the top selection teams of her club. She has experience playing at the highest level of Dutch youth hockey (National league/Landelijk) and currently plays on the U18-1 team at the second highest youth level (Super). Bibi also frequently practices and plays with the MOP Women 1 team, allowing her to learn from older teammates at the second highest senior level (Promotieklasse).

Playing style
Bibi usually plays as a central defender. She has a very strong basic skill set (push, sweep, hit, reverse) and is able to use a variety of skills to give great passes from the back. She has the ability to play short and long passes, and knows when to use speed to run past the first pressing line to open up more space to create additional passing options. Bibi has a very calm presence and knows how to use her voice to set up her teammates defensively. In attacking penalty corners, Bibi has a strong insert but can also use a powerful sweep on goal for tipping opportunities. Additionally, she’s working on improving her dragflick. In the defensive corner unit, Bibi is a great post. Bibi has also played in the forward line before, making her very aware of her defensive positioning and goal scoring opportunities.

Accomplishments
During the 2021-2022 season, Bibi led her team to the third place at the Super B league national championships. As a U16 player, she was also invited to partake in an additional selection moment for the Dutch U16 team. Bibi was named team captain during the 2024-2025 season, allowing her to improve on her leadership skills.

Academics
Bibi is expected to graduate the highest level of Dutch high school (VWO) in June 2026.
