Athletic Background

Fynn began playing organized basketball at the age of 13 and quickly established himself as a high-level scorer. In his first season, he was selected for U14-1 Eredivisie, the highest youth level in the Netherlands. After his first months, Fynn earned increased responsibility with the U14-1 Eredivisie team. This transition accelerated his development and adaptability at a high level.

Internationally, he has gained valuable experience by participating in two basketball stages and tournaments in Spain with the U14-1 and U16-1 teams. In 2023, he attended the Teo4 Camp in Serbia, founded by former EuroLeague star Miloš Teodosić, where he trained in a professional, high-intensity environment focused on skill development, decision-making, and competitiveness.

Fynn competed for two seasons with U16-1, playing in the Eredivisie (2023–2024) and First Division (2024–2025), the second-highest youth level in the Netherlands. During the 2024–2025 season, his team became league champions, and Fynn averaged approximately 13 points per game, contributing consistently as a scorer and two-way player.

For the 2025–2026 season, Fynn was asked to move up and compete at the U19 level, while just being 16 years old. He currently starts for the First Division U19-2 team and is also part of the U19-1 Eredivisie roster as a bench player, gaining experience against elite national competition while continuing his development above his age group.

Strengths

Fynn has excellent court vision and a strong feel for the game. He makes smart decisions, and consistently creates scoring opportunities for both himself and his teammates. One of his biggest strengths is his three-point shooting, where he is a confident and reliable threat, particularly in catch-and-shoot and rhythm situations.

He remains calm under pressure and brings control and stability in high-intensity moments. Fynn has the ability to slow the game down, make the right reads, and keep his team organized. Additionally, his floater gives him an efficient scoring option in the mid-range and against rim protection.

Off the court, Fynn is highly disciplined and dependable. He is consistently available, punctual, coachable, and professional in his approach, with a strong commitment to continuous improvement.

Athletic Goals

Fynn continues to focus on improving his defensive foot speed, particularly when guarding quicker players on the perimeter. He is also working on developing overall physical strength to better handle contact and the physicality required at higher levels of competition.

Fynn’s goal in the United States is to learn from the daily intensity and high level of competition within American basketball. He aims to become physically stronger, more comfortable playing a physical style, and to further develop all aspects of his game against strong and athletic opponents.

Through competing in the U.S., he seeks to raise his basketball IQ, toughness, and consistency. His long-term objective is to return as a significantly stronger, more complete, and more impactful player, both physically and mentally, prepared for the next level of competition.
